Restaurants need to stay focused on their neighborhood. It makes no sense to market to the entire city when most customers live or work within a short walking or driving distance. Partnering with a local business is the smart way to increase foot traffic without any out-of-pocket marketing costs. In exchange for a complimentary dinner, local businesses send their clients to you. BE SMART! Say goodby to costly print and email campaigns that don't work.

Make Them an Offer They Can't Refuse

Getting someone to try a new restaurant is all about giving them a reason to walk in. A Complimentary Dinner is a very powerful reason. Restaurant cross promotions are uniquely effective because they send a consistent stream of new clients to your restaurant. Flag these first time guests for VIP service and they very likely will come back with family and friends.

Require  a 2 or 3-entree minimum. Deduct the lowest cost entree ordered (excluding tax and gratuity) from the final bill. Include a mandatory 20% service fee before any discounts. Valid at off-peak times; all day Sun to Thur, also Fri and Sat when seated before 5pm, except holidays. Guests must phone the restaurant for a reservation to insure availability and avoid any third party booking fees.

Promotional Dinners are a Profitable Strategy

Guests are required to spend more than twice the eGift Card value, guaranteeing profit on every table. The two scenarios below illustrate how Promotional Complimentary Dinners deliver healthy bottom line profits to your restaurant - especially when including the many frequently ordered menu extras.
Scenario A (2-New Guests)
Guest #1 orders $35 entree
Guest #2 orders $45 entree
+$80.00
($35 + $45 entrees ordered)
+$16.00 (add mandatory 20% fee)
+$96.00 (Subtotal)

-$35.00 (Less  lowest cost entree or $25 max)
+$61.00 (Net Guest Check Amount)

-$26.00 (Deduct 33% for food cost)
$35.00 (minimum net profit)*
Scenario B (2-New Couples)
Couple #1 orders two $35 entrees
Couple #2 orders two $45 entrees
+$160.00
(Total of the 4-entrees ordered)
+$32.00 (add mandatory 20% fee)
+$192.00 (Subtotal)

-$35.00 (Less lowest cost entree or $25 max)
+$157.00 (Net Guest Check Amount)

-$52.00 (Deduct 33% for food cost)
$105.00 (minimum net profit)*
* In addition to the required 2 or 3-entree minimums, guests usually order extra menu items; appetizer, soup, salad, extra sides, dessert, non-alcohol and alcoholic beverages, increasing your bottom line profit.
